Why we built this

Most percentage calculators online are cluttered with ads, buried under pop-ups, or show the answer only after you click a button. We wanted something cleaner: type a number and see the result immediately, with the formula and step-by-step working shown right below it.

We also believe you should understand how an answer was reached, not just what it is. So every calculator on this site shows the formula it used with your actual values substituted in — turning a black-box result into a transparent calculation.
